Shopping & Delivery FAQ

How do I pay for my shopping?
Payment is made to our driver on the receipt of the goods. You may pay by cash or debit card.

How do I place an order?
The goods are listed under a number of product groups such as Fresh Meat & Dairy , Fresh Fruit, Bread etc.
We will give you a printed catalogue. We will then call you few days before your arranged delivery date to see if you require any shopping that week or you or  carers or care manager can ring us.

How often is my shopping delivered?
Your shopping will be delivered to you once a week at home at a time and day we will arrange with you.

Opening Hours?
Our office is open from 9am to 5pm..We deliver Monday to Saturday between 9am and 6pm.

What do I do when my shopping is delivered?
An Alixcare driver will arrive at your door with identification for you to check wearing an Alixcare uniform.
They will bring the shopping into your home and check with you that you have received all the products on the shopping receipt. You will sign a delivery note as proof you have received the goods.
Where assistance is needed, they will help you to unpack your shopping and store it in your freezer,fridge and cupboards.

How do I access or apply for it?
by calling the office direct or your carer or care manager can call us.

How much does it cost?
All clients are charged  £5.00 per delivery.

What areas do you cover?
Our Local Service Covers: Cherwell, Oxford, South Oxfordshire, Vale of White Horse, West Oxfordshire (Oxfordshire).
